Open the Solar-Terrestial Physics site at the National Geophysical Data Center for data on the properties of the Sun and its output

The Solar Radiation and Climate Experiment (SORCE) is a satellite that measures solar radiation at the TOP of the Earth's atmosphere. Compare its data to your ground-based measurements.
